First day of harvest 2016 completed on 17th of March.
We had extreamly dry spring, that we normally dry farm but irrigated once this year, followed by good amount of rainfall in December, and January, which is a critical moment for fruit development. As a result we have juicier fruit this year. It looks like it will be more elegant style Pinot this year!!
Let’s hope for the good weather for next several weeks.
